Description

The 1¢ green King Edward postal stationery card with advertising for Ridout & Company, promoting the Dutch firm Talens & Company’s tubes of photographic reproduction retouch colors. An amazing card, with six different product samples actually attached in small labeled blobs at right. The attachments required an added 1¢ stamp, which Ridout obviously knew, attaching one. Used from Toronto (Feb. 2, 1904 cancel) to an engraving company in Albany. Very unusual, and in good condition. Webb P23. SCROLL DOWN FOR ALL SCANS.
