A New Take on the Sonic Boom
This newest addition to the Pearl Sonic Boom family of cajons has a fiery-red figured maple faceplate and a maple body for a fuller tone than past iterations. The Pearl Sonic Boom Flame Thrower cajon trades its signature front bass port for a pair of top rear ports. This provides a balanced miked tone that captures both the snare wires and the bass at once. The Sonic Boom Flame Thrower's inclined faceplate lets players sit up straighter and play with more power - a feature that percussionists know beginners will find useful.
